Cyber International Panel: "Cyber Critical Infrastructures for Global Supply Chains. Assets, state of play, threats, attacks, and countermeasures"

International Panel from Dubai Expo 2020 - Italy Pavilion, streaming on Luiss Social TV. - 13th January 2022, 3 PM (UAE) 12 PM (Italy).

Abstract

The recent hiccups in the logistic of Global Supply Chains, resulting from the stress posed by the measures to curb the spreading of the pandemic, followed by a subsequent acceleration in the world economy, have clearly shown that the global supply chains are inherently fragile. In addition, the same has been seen, to a smaller scale, with the recent cyber-attacks: Colonial Pipeline, that impacted the distribution of oil on the East Coast of the US; Maersk ransomware, whose related outages put the first stress test on the logistics chain; and solar-winds, whose depth and breadth of compromising (and associated consequences) has not been fully understood yet.

The digital challenge: Find your star

How to build your global value network while promoting social and environmental sustainability in digital ecosystems? Seize this Open Source INTelligence (OSINT) experience for future decision makers, and learn how to leverage Artificial Intelligence to quickly collect, integrate and analyze dynamic heterogeneous data flows. The decision intelligence process and platforms transform data into knowledge and foresights, leading to enhanced decision-making skills. The objective of the digital challenge is to introduce students to the potential and basic functioning of the Digital OSINT with a view to enabling them to leverage this technology as a means to enhance and transform their decision-making processes. Within this framework participants will be provided with a firsthand insight into the related process, methodology, technology and legal framework. If you are interested to apply, please find here the Expression of interest and our privacy policy.
