The program involves a combination of theory and hands-on experience: students delve into the fundamental elements of screenwriting while collaborating in writing teams, getting in touch with the world of screenwriting and TV film writing. Classes are taught by New York Film Academy's prestigious academic corps of professional screenwriters.
During the week, students can learn all the secrets of writing, starting from brainstorming to the idea, from the basics of writing a professional short bible to the tricks of making one's story appealing to the national and international market. Students can learn about the world behind the small and big screen, with a focus on the importance of teamwork and the written and oral presentation of the project.
